Rules of the realm

To keep the world fair and enjoyable for everyone, every adventurer agrees to these rules when creating an account.

Draft version. The final rules will be published before the world opens and may change.

  1. Respect

    Insults, threats, discrimination, harassment and offensive content are not allowed, whether in chat or in character, guild or house names.

  2. Fair play

    Using programs that play for you, automate actions, modify the client or give an unfair advantage is forbidden. Only the official client may be used.

  3. Game bugs

    Anyone who finds a bug must report it to the team. Exploiting a bug for your own benefit or sharing it with other players will be punished.

  4. Accounts

    Your account is personal. Never give your password to anyone, not even someone claiming to be from the team. The team will never ask for it. Selling or trading accounts and characters for real money is forbidden.

  5. Names

    Character names must not be offensive, impersonate team members, contain personal information or advertise anything.

  6. Fraud and scams

    Cheating other players in trades, pretending to be a team member or trying to obtain other people's account details leads to immediate punishment.

  7. Advertising

    Advertising other services, websites or servers inside the game is not allowed.

Penalties

Depending on how serious it is, an offense may lead to a warning, a temporary mute, an account suspension or a permanent ban. The team may remove items or progress obtained improperly.
